Women’s March in Washington D.C. with Emma Watson

On Donald Trump’s first day of his Presidency women around the world mobilized in protest. In Washington D.C. it is estimated that over half a million women and men came together peacefully to give voice and presence to their discontents. Among those half a million marchers were Emma Watson and her mother that flew in from the UK to march with her daughter. The Marches were an overwhelming success all over the world with numbers far exceeding expectations. With the march behind us now the work must continue to fight a rising tide of fascism and degradation of human rights. You can visit Women’s March to find out how you can get the real work started to make a change. We also would like to suggest visiting Swing Left, which is a new organization dedicated to taking back control of the House of Representatives.
