Josephine Skriver (born April 14, 1993) is a Danish model known for her work with international fashion and beauty brands like Victoria’s Secret, Gucci, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Bulgari, and DKNY. In 2013, Skriver openly discussed to the media about her upbringing with both parents being members of the LGBT community. She sought to speak to other children of LGBT parents and help them “to be open and try to who they are, whether their parents are gay or come out as gay later on in their upbringing.” Her goal is for the general public to accept such families to be “just as traditional.”
